River Lakes Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located right across the Jefferson Barracks bridge in Columbia, Illinois. 

River Lakes Golf Course first opened for play in 1993. The course was designed by Jim Watkins.

The name River Lakes was created due to the proximity of the Mississippi river and the seven man-made lakes. The course is situated on the plains of Columbia. The course is relatively flat, making it an easy course to walk.  The layout is excellent for seniors and also for individuals learning the game of golf. There are several lakes that come into play, and five holes require forced carries over the water.Watch the creek that runs beside three of the holes.

The total yardage from the white tee boxes is 5,748 and 4,777 from the red tee boxes. Par for the course is 71.
